June saw no significant changes compared with last month. In fact, the income has remained fairly stable between 450-500 dollars for the past 6 months. I’ve gone back and readjusted the April and May Smashwords sales with the latest sales reports and the income for those months now also fall within this range. The income seems unlikely to chance much on its own. As such I will hold back on posting these reports for the next few months until something interesting happens, such as the release of the PHP book.
1. Product income
Amazon sold 13 hard copy books ($92.36) and 11 Kindle ebooks (72.89). Smashwords sold another 24 epub books ($111.73). In total 48 books compared with last month’s 53.
2. Advertisement income
YouTube ads paid $101.84 and site ads $42.30. Together with the private ad deals ($27.90) total ad revenue is 172.04 dollars, up $16 from last month.
3. Affiliate income
Despite selling only 6 items through Amazon Associates this month’s affiliate income was the highest one yet at $22.41. Affiliate clicks per view was 1.44% and sales per click was 0.50%.
Total income was: $92.36 + $72.89 + $111.73 + $172.04 + $22.41 = 471.43 dollars. An increase of 7 dollars compared with last month.
